Chydane, near Helston, offers luxury coastal B&B accommodation only a stone’s throw away from a long, quiet beach with magnificent sea views. Located on the cliff above the beach is Chydane, a coastal stay that is really on the coast; with breathtaking sea views overlooking Mounts Bay and the Penwith Peninsula.

Carla and John have completely renovated their home, which has a contemporary feel along with the careful use of antiques. The main bedroom has French windows opening on to the ocean, and has a flat screen TV and DVD player. With all the fresh sea air you cannot help but get a peaceful nights sleep.

After a breakfast overlooking the sea, spend the day sunbathing and relaxing, enjoying a book either on the terrace or in the large summer house, both of which have extensive sea views. Alternatively, visit the many places of interest and towns nearby before returning back to Chydane and watching the sunset from the terrace or your room.

Evening meals are not available, but the highly popular Halzephron Inn is within walking distance.

About Your Hosts

Carla and John are interested in antiques and visiting art galleries. They also enjoy gardening, cooking, tennis and entertaining.

Out and About

As well as the beaches and cliff walks to Loe Bar and Porthleven on our doorstep, we are only ten minutes from the spectacular links course at Mullion for those interested in golf. We are also close to Trebah and Glendurgan Gardens, and the Helford River.
You can also enjoy visiting the fishing villages and heritage homes close by or try your hand at sea fishing or horse riding.

Your hosts are more than happy to pre-book dinner at one of Cornwall's many great places to eat or arrange tickets to visit the Minack Theatre or Eden Project
